- 2 lb. venison steak, cut in serving pieces
- salt
- pepper
- 2 Tbsp. meat tenderizer
- 1 egg
- 1 c. milk
- flour
- 1 c. diced onions
Directions

1Soak steak in salt water overnight.

2Pound until tender. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and meat tenderizer.

3Let stand 30 minutes. Beat egg and milk together. Dip steak in mixture. Dredge in flour.

4Fry quickly in oil.

5Arrange in deep casserole.

6Place diced onions on top.

7Make gravy with drippings and flour.

8Pour over steak.

9Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes or until onions are done.

10Yields 8 servings.
