Venison Dyson

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. venison
  • water
  • 1 red pepper or dash of red pepper
  • 1 c. onions
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. red wine
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Cook venison in water until tender.

    Add salt and pepper. Cool. Cut into small pieces and put in shallow pan.

    Cover with the stock that it was cooked in. Put onion, flour, wine and bacon strips on top.

    Bake for about 2 hours in a slow oven.
