- 3 lb. venison
- water
- 1 red pepper or dash of red pepper
- 1 c. onions
- 4 slices bacon
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 3 Tbsp. red wine
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook venison in water until tender.

2Add salt and pepper. Cool. Cut into small pieces and put in shallow pan.

3Cover with the stock that it was cooked in. Put onion, flour, wine and bacon strips on top.

4Bake for about 2 hours in a slow oven.
