- 3 to 4 lb. roast
- 3/4 to 1 tsp. salt
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 onion, sliced
- 12 oz. beer
- 6 slices bacon
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. boiling water
- 2 bay leaves or substitute with basil
Directions

1Salt and pepper the roast. Secure bacon around the meat with toothpicks and place in crock-pot. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water. Add onion, bay leaves, bouillon and beer to the crock-pot. Cook for 4 to 5 hours.
