  • 2 lb. venison chopped meat
  • 1 1/3 c. pkg. breadcrumbs
  • 3 to 4 slices day-old bread crumbs
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 1/4 c. ketchup
  • 1/4 c. A.1. sauce
  • 3 slices bacon

    In large bowl, combine all ingredients except bacon.

    Mix well.

    Shape the meat mixture into a loaf.

    Top loaf with 3 slices of bacon.

    Cook at 350° for 1 1/4 hours.

    Serve with potato and vegetable.
