- 3 to 4 medium potatoes, quartered
- 3 to 4 carrots
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 (3 to 5 lb.) venison (deer) roast
Directions

1Boil potatoes and carrots in 2 cups water until tender. Remove the potatoes and carrots from the cooking liquid.

2Let the liquid cool.

3In a 2-cup measuring cup, combine the onion soup mix and vinegar with the liquid reserved from the carrots and potatoes.

4Add enough water to equal 2 cups.

5Put roast in roasting pan and pour onion soup mixture over roast.

6Place in a preheated 350° oven and bake 3 hours.
