- 2 lb. venison steak
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 c. water
- 1 onion, chopped
- salt and pepper
- garlic salt
Directions

1Pound steak until tender.

2Soak in vinegar, water and salt for 1 hour, to draw blood and wild taste out of meat.

3Remove from liquid and dry.

4Spread chopped onion over meat and let stand for 30 minutes to absorb the flavor.

5Remove onion from the meat, dip the meat into flour, black pepper and garlic salt.

6Fry in shortening until done with leftover onion on medium heat.
