- 1 lb. venison stew meat
- 1 small, chopped onion
- 3 carrots, cut up as desired
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 4 to 5 medium potatoes, cut as desired
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 can beef broth
- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 6 slices bacon, fried (save drippings)
Directions

1Dust stew meat with flour and pepper.

2Brown meat in bacon drippings.

3Place browned meat in crock-pot.

4Add onion and other vegetables.

5Blend soup with milk and beef broth; pour over ingredients in crock-pot.

6Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

7Add sliced mushrooms and bacon bits about 1 hour prior to serving.
