- flour, salt and pepper (mixed), to cover meat
- 1 pkg. seasoning mix or stew seasoning
- 3 1/2 c. water
- 12 small red potatoes
- 3 stalks celery
- 4 chopped carrots
- 5 small onions
Directions

1Roll the meat in flour, salt and pepper, then brown in shortening.

2Add seasonings or seasoning mix, 1 teaspoon salt and water.

3Cover and simmer for about 45 minutes.

4Add vegetables and cook another half hour.
