  • 1 lb. venison steak, cut in strips
  • 1 Tbsp. coking oil
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 c. tomato juice
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. sour cream

Directions

    Mix flour with salt and pepper to taste.

    Dredge meat in flour and brown in oil with onion.

    Add tomato juice, water and sugar. Simmer until tender.

    Ten minutes before serving, add mushrooms and sour cream.
