  • 3 eggs
  • 3 1/8 tablespoons milk powder skimmed
  • 7/8 cup water
  • 1 cup flour
  • 5/8 cup cheese grated Gruyere Comte
  • 1 3/8 tablespoons melted butter
  • salt

Directions

    Preheat oven to 210 degrees Celsius.

    Put popover molds in oven.

    Pour the milk powder in a bowl, and dilute it with water, whisking with a fork.

    In another bowl whisk the egg, add the milk, whisk for 2 or 3 minutes.

    Gradually add the flour and salt, and mix to obtain a smooth paste, then add the melted butter.

    Add the gruyere.

    Remove the molds from the oven, grease, and fill to 2/3 full.

    Bake for about 20 minutes (until very inflated), then for about 10 minutes at 180 C.
