- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. Vermont maple syrup
- 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Directions

1Separate the eggs; beat separately.

2Heat 3/4 cup syrup to a boiling point.

3Slowly pour in yolks, beating constantly.

4Fold in beaten whites, vanilla, salt, flour and baking powder.

5Bake in greased tube pan in 325° oven for 50 minutes.
