- 6 lean pork chops (preferably boneless)
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. oil
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. maple syrup
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1Lightly brown pork chops in the oil.

2Place chops in flat baking dish.

3Combine other ingredients over low heat and pour over chops.

4Cover and bake 45 minutes in a 400° oven, basting occasionally.

5Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.

6Place chops on warming platter.

7Make a sauce by combining pan juices with the flour over low heat.

8Stir until slightly thickened, about 2 minutes.

9Serve sauce over chops.
