- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 large egg yolks
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 (10 oz.) jar jam
- 1 c. or more chocolate chips
- 4 egg whites
- 2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. sugar
Directions

1In a large bowl, combine 1 cup margarine at room temperature and 1/2 cup sugar.

2Work until creamy and mixed well.

3Beat in the salt and egg yolks.

4Add flour and knead with fingers until smooth.

5Pat dough evenly into a 12 x 17-inch pan.

6Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in pan in heated 350° oven until lightly browned.
