- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- dash of salt
- 3 eggs, separated
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 small can Angel Flake coconut
- 1 (8-inch) pie shell, baked
Directions

1Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.

2Add beaten egg yolks. Stir in milk; cook over slow heat until thick.

3Add vanilla and coconut.

4Save enough coconut to put on top of egg whites.

5Beat egg whites.

6Add 1/4 cup sugar gradually.

7Place in preheated 350° oven and bake until golden brown.
