  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 3/4 c. Crisco
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar

    Mix flour, Crisco, sugar and salt together until particles are the size of peas. Mix egg, water and vinegar in a small bowl. Then add to the flour mixture. Mix until it forms a ball in the bowl. Makes 5 pie shells or 2 double crust pie crust, plus one pie shell. Can be divided and frozen or kept in the refrigerator. Roll on floured surface. Bake in preheated 375° oven for 30 to 45 minutes or until done. Very good and easy to work with.
