- boiling water
- 1 lemon
- 1 pkg. Sure-Jell
- 4 c. sugar
Directions

1Fill any size glass jar with violet blossoms.

2Cover with boiling water.

3Put lid on jar and let blossoms infuse for 24 hours.

4The next day, open the jar and strain the blue infusion, discarding the spent violets.

5Measure out 2 cups of the infusion and add the juice of 1 lemon and 1 package of Sure-Jell.

6Bring just to a boil and immediately add sugar.

7Bring back to a boil and boil hard for 1 minute.

8Pour into hot sterilized jars or glasses and seal.
