Vitner Corn Pops

  • 1/2 lb. butter (must use real butter)
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 (8 oz.) bag Vitner corn pops

Directions

    Boil butter, sugar and syrup for 5 minutes.

    Add soda; mix well.

    Put corn pops in a large pan (a roaster works well).

    Pour syrup over corn pops and mix well. Bake at 250° for 45 minutes. Every 15 minutes remove from oven and stir well.

    Return to oven; repeat this 2 more times.

    When done, spread out on wax paper or a brown paper bag.

    Let cool.
