- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/3 c. cooking oil
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar (apple cider)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients together in an ungreased 9-inch pan. Makes three holes in the dry ingredients.

2In the first hole, put the oil.

3In the second hole, put the vinegar.

4In the third hole, put the vanilla.

5Pour the water over all and mix with a fork until blended.

6Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Cool.

7Frost right in pan or dust with powdered sugar.
