  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. oil

Directions

    Sift first 5 ingredients together into a 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Make 3 wells in mixture.

    Pour vinegar in first well, vanilla in second and oil in the third.

    Cover with 2 cups cold water, mixing with fork.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
