Ingredients
- 4 medium-size tart red apples, cored and diced (do not peel)
- 3/4 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/3 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
- 2/3-1 cup mayonnaise
Directions

1Stir all ingredients together, adding just enough mayonnaise for good consistency.

2Cover and chill 2-3 hours.

5Chicken (or Turkey) Waldorf Salad: Prepare as directed but add 3 cups 1/2 Cubes cold cooked Chicken or turkey meat; increase mayonnaise to 1 1/2 cups, and add about 1 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon white pepper.
