- 1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. celery
- 1 carrot (bite size)
- 2 potatoes, cut in chunks
- 1/2 can tomato soup
- 1 Tbsp. tapioca
- 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp. salt and pepper
Directions

1Put roast, onions, celery, carrots and potatoes in casserole dish.

2Sprinkle with seasonings.

3Add tomato soup to mixture and rinse can with a little water.

4Cover with lid and cook 5 hours at 250°.

5Do not raise lid.

6Do not brown meat; makes its own gravy.
