- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 c. coconut
- 1 c. nuts
Directions

1Mix together shortening, salt, brown sugar and 1 cup of flour. Pat into greased pan.

2Bake 15 minutes at 325°.

3Mix remaining ingredients and pour on top of first layer.

4Bake 25 minutes.
