- 2C flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 stick butter softerned
- 1/3 c granulated sugar
- 2 lg. eggs
- 1Tbsp. vinilla extract
- 1 cup walnuts toasted and chopped
- 12 oz white chocolate, melted

1preheat oven to 325 F

2On waxed paper , combine flour, baking powder and salt. In large bowl, beat butter and sugars until creamy. add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vinilla. beat in flour mixture just untill blended.. stir in walnuts. divide dough in half. form each half into 1 1/2 inch wide log on parchment paper on cookie sheet. bake 30 min. until golder brown. cool on pan 5 min. Slide log on cutting board. with serrated knife, cut each log crosswise into 1/2 in. thick diagonal slices, place cut side down on same sheet. Bake 20 to 25 min. or until golden brown and crisp. cool completely on pan on wire rack. dip half of each cookie into chocolat. let harden on wax paper. store up to 1 week in airtight container.
