Ingredients

  • 3 boxes frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. chicken bouillon crystals
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 8 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 1/2 c. milk
  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 small pkg. (8 oz.) herb stuffing
  • 6 to 8 oz. chopped walnuts

Directions

    Cook broccoli until barely tender.

    Drain and put in casserole dish.

    Melt the 1/2 cup butter and add the flour.

    Remove from heat and add bouillon.

    Gradually add milk.

    Return to heat and cook until smooth and boiling.

    Pour over broccoli.

    Heat the 3/4 cup water and 6 tablespoons butter.

    Add the stuffing and walnuts. Sprinkle over broccoli and bake at 400° for 20 to 30 minutes.
