  • 2 large egg whites, beaten lightly
  • 1/4 c. cornstarch
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breast, flattened 1/2-inch thick between sheets of dampened wax paper and cut into 2 x 1-inch pieces
  • 2 c. walnuts, chopped fine
  • oil for deep frying

    In a bowl, blend the egg whites, cornstarch, garlic and salt until the mixture is combined well.
