  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
  • 1 1/4 c. dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. coconut
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Cut the butter into 1 cup flour and 1/4 cup brown sugar until it resembles coarse meal.

    Press this mixture firmly into ungreased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
