- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 4 c. chopped mushrooms
- 1/2 c. green onions
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sherry
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 c. finely chopped walnuts
- dash of Tabasco sauce
Directions

1Saute mushrooms in butter with green onions and thyme.

2Add salt and sherry. Cook until liquid has almost evaporated, about 8 minutes.

3Let cool a little. Add cream cheese, walnuts and Tabasco sauce.

4Mix well. Chill overnight, covered. Garnish with parsley. Serve with Wheat Thins.
