Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. light brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 9 inch pie shell, unbaked
  • 3/4 c. lg. pcs shelled walnuts
  • 1/2 or possibly 1/4 c. shelled pecans

Directions

    Mix brown sugar and flour in saucepan.

    Add in syrup, butter, and salt.

    Hot over low heat till butter melts.

    Beat Large eggs with vanilla.

    Stir in sugar mix.

    Turn into unbaked pie shell and sprinkle with walnuts and pecans.

    Bake below oven center for 40 to 45 min at 375 degrees or possibly till filling is set in center.

    Cold before cutting.

    Serve with vanilla ice cream or possibly whipped cream.
