- 12 cup sugar
- 13 cup light corn syrup
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 large egg
- 34 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 -9 inch ready-made pie crust
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425*.

2In medium saucepan, melt butter over low heat.

3Mix in eggs, vanilla, sugar and corn syrup.

4Add in salt and walnuts.

5Bring to boil, careful not to cook the eggs.

6Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.

7On lightly floured surface, roll out pie crust.

8Cut out 3-inch circles with circle cutter.

9Fill each circle with approximately 1 teaspoons of filling.

10Fold the crust over and crimp edges with a fork.

11Arrange on cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.

12Cool on wire rack.
