- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1/2 tsp. rum flavoring
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 c. black walnuts, chopped
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1 c. cream
- 5 eggs (room temperature)
Directions

1Cream butter and Crisco.

2Add sugar and eggs, one at a time. Add flavoring. Mix 1/2 cup flour with nuts and set aside. Add remaining sifted flour with baking powder.
