Ware Neck Clam Chowder

  • 3 qt. water
  • 8 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 2 medium onions, chopped fine
  • 25 medium clams, shucked and chopped fine (use clam juice with water)
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 2 cans cream of potato soup
  • 6 slices bacon
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Place all ingredients except bacon into large cooking pot and bring to boil.

    Microwave bacon about 6 to 7 minutes.

    Pour drippings and bacon into pot.

    Simmer until potatoes are done.
