- 6 slices cut up bacon
- 1 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 c. vinegar
Directions

1Fry 6 slices cut up bacon until crisp.

2Remove to paper towel. Add 1 cup water to bacon grease and bring to boil.

3Make paste of flour, salt, sugar and 1/4 cup water.

4Add 1 well beaten egg to paste mixture.

5Remove water mixture from heat and stir in egg mixture slowly.

6Return to heat and stir until thick.

7Remove from heat and stir in 1/4 cup vinegar.

8Add bacon pieces right before you serve over lettuce or endive.
