  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp. dry sherry
  • 1 tsp. chicken bouillon (instant)
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 c. finely chopped, cooked chicken
  • 2 Tbsp. slivered almonds (optional)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    In large bowl, beat cream cheese and 1 cup Cheddar cheese, sour cream, onion, sherry, bouillon and garlic powder until smooth.

    Stir in chicken and almonds.

    Spread in 9-inch pie plate or quiche pan.

    Bake for 20 minutes.

    Top with remaining cheese.

    Bake for 3 to 5 minutes longer or until cheese melts.

    Serve warm with crackers.
