- 1 c. butter or margarine (room temperature)
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. each ground ginger and ground cinnamon
- 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1/3 c. molasses
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.

3Mix together the flour, baking soda, ginger and cinnamon.

4With electric mixer, beat butter and brown sugar at high speed until pale brown and creamy. Break the eggs into butter mixture and beat until completely blended.

5Add half the flour mixture and mix at low speed.

6Add sour cream and mix. Add remaining flour and mix. Add molasses and mix until smooth.

7Fill prepared pan and bake about 30 minutes.
