- 1/2 cup half and half
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 vanilla bean
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions

1Whisk together egg yolk, 1/2 & 1/2, sugar, seeds from the vanilla bean and vanilla extract.

2Cook over LOW heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring constantly until it thickens slightly.

3Remove from heat and set aside.
