  • 2 lb. chuck steak, cubed
  • 6 c. water
  • 5 c. cooked and diced beets
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 1 minced onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Cook meat in a large saucepan in 6 cups water about 2 hours. Add beets, celery and onion.

    Cook another 30 minutes.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Blend sour cream, flour and egg.

    Stir into soup.

    Do not boil.
