  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 2 cans whole water chestnuts

Directions

    Wrap chestnuts in bacon and bake at 400° for 20 minutes or until bacon is cooked.

    Use toothpicks to secure bacon, spearing through bacon and water chestnut.

    Drain fat and mix ketchup and brown sugar.

    Pour mixture over chestnuts and bake for 20 minutes at 300°.
