- 1 bottle soy sauce
- sugar
- bacon
Directions

1Drain water chestnuts.

2Cut the bigger ones in half.

3Put in bowl; add soy sauce.

4Cover chestnuts.

5Leave in bowl 5 to 6 hours.

6Drain and roll in sugar.

7Cut uncooked bacon slices in half.

8Wrap chestnuts in bacon and hold bacon together with toothpicks.

9Put in pan and bake at 300° until bacon is cooked.
