- 1 c. Crisco
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 c. cake flour
- 8 egg whites
- 1 c. milk
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Beat egg whites, adding about 1/2 cup sugar, until stiffly beaten.

2Cream sugar and Crisco together well.

3Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and add alternately with the milk to the creamed sugar mixture, mixing thoroughly.

4Fold in the egg whites. Pour batter into a 14-inch, a 12-inch and an 8-inch greased and floured cake pan for a tiered Wedding Cake.

5Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
