- 3 to 5 lb. London broil, boneless round or chuck roast
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. catsup
- 1/4 c. Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 2 tsp. salt
Directions

1In heavy pot, brown meat on sides and top in small amount of oil.

2Add chopped onion; cook until golden.

3Combine catsup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, vinegar and salt; pour over roast.

4Simmer, covered, about 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

5Slice and serve with sauce along with onions, carrots and potato chunks if desired.

6Serves 6 to 8.
