- 2 c. flour
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. milk
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 1/2 to 3 c. whole wheat flour
Directions

1Stir together white flour and yeast.

2Heat milk, water, oil, sugar and salt until very warm (120° to 130°; use candy thermometer).

3Add liquid all at once to flour-yeast mixture. Beat at medium speed of mixer until smooth, about 2 minutes.

4Add enough flour to form soft dough.

5Mix well (either by hand or use mixer).

6Let stand 12 to 15 minutes.
