  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. dark Karo
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • grated peel of large orange
  • 1/4 c. whiskey
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust

Directions

    In a saucepan, mix sugar, Karo, soda and salt. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and cool. Stir in the butter, beaten eggs, flour, orange peel and whiskey. Pour into unbaked pie crust. Bake at 325° for 50 minutes or until firm in the center.
