White Bean and Onion Dip

  • 1/4 cups Green Onion, Roughly Sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Peeled And Roughly Minced
  • 2- 1/2 cups Pre-Cooked White Beans (Or 18 Ounces Canned Cannellini Beans)
  • 2 Tablespoons Tahini Paste
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 teaspoons Cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoons Dried Oregano

Directions

    Drain and rinse beans, reserving about 1/2 cup of cooking liquid (or canned liquid).

    Combine all ingredients in a food processor, except bean liquid.

    Process until smooth, slowly adding reserved juice until it reaches desired consistency.

    Serve with veggies, pita chips, or use in the place of mayonnaise on a sandwich for a healthier and protein-packed alternative!
