  • 1 (16 oz.) can navy beans, undrained
  • 1 (15.8 oz.) can Great Northern beans, undrained
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 (6 3/4 oz.) can chunk ham, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted

Directions

    Combine first 2 ingredients in a large saucepan.

    Mash slightly with potato masher.
  3. 3
    Stir in water and cook over low heat until thoroughly heated.

    Meanwhile, saute onion and carrot in butter until tender and add with ham to bean mixture.

    Cook over low heat for 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. Makes 4 servings.
