- 2 lb. dried navy beans
- 1/2 c. cooking oil
- 4 ham hocks or 1 lb. salt meat
- 1/2 c. chopped parsley
- salt to taste
- 1 c. chopped onion
Directions

1In a large pot, put in white beans and enough water to cover. Heat until the water comes to a boil.

2Let stand for about 1 hour. Do not drain.

3Put more water, oil, onions and meat seasoning. Let cook on medium fire for about 2 hours or 3 hours or until beans are creamy and tender.

4Just before finished cooking, put in parsley.
