- 1/4 lb. white chocolate, melted over hot water
- 1 c. margarine
- 2 c. white sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 4 egg whites, whipped
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. pecans
- 1 c. Angel Flake coconut
Directions

1Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.

2Cream butter; add sugar and vanilla.

3Add egg yolks and melted chocolate. Alternate the flour, buttermilk, nuts and coconut.

4Fold in beaten egg whites.

5Bake in three 9-inch pans or oblong pan at 350° for about 45 minutes or until done.

6Ice with Cream Cheese Frosting.
