  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • dash of salt

    Mix flour, sugar and margarine as for pie crust.

    Reserve 3/4 cup crumbs.

    Add beaten eggs and beat well.

    Mix buttermilk and soda together.

    Add to other ingredients, along with vanilla and dash of salt.

    Pour into 9 x 13-inch greased pan.

    Top with reserved crumbs and bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
