- 5 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. lemon extract
- 1 lb. candied pineapple
- 1/2 lb. red candied cherries
- 1/2 lb. green candied cherries
- 4 c. pecans or walnuts
Directions

1Cut cherries and pineapple in half.

2Mix fruit and flour. Cream butter and sugar; add beaten eggs and flavorings.

3Combine with fruit and nuts.

4Line greased 9-inch tube pan with brown paper.

5Grease paper also.

6Pour mixture in pan.

7Bake at 300° until done (2 to 2 1/2 hours).

8Cool on rack for 1/2 hour.

9Remove paper.
-
10Cool completely and store.
