White Fruit Cake

- 3 sticks butter
- 8 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 5 c. flour
- 2 lb. pecans
- 2 small pkg. coconut
- 1 lb. English walnuts
- 2 pkg. white raisins
- 1/2 lb. red cherries
- 1/2 lb. green cherries
- 1 small jar apple jelly
- 1 pkg. mixed candied fruit
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add eggs and flour alternately.

3Use 4 cups of flour, adding one at a time.

4Next add the jar of jelly, blending well. Use the 5th cup of flour to coat the fruit and then add to mixture, blending together well.

5Pour into greased and floured pan.

6I use steeple pan and line it with wax paper.
-
7Cook at 200° until done.

8Yields 2 cakes.
