  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 c. sherry, rum or pineapple juice
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/4 lb. candied cherries
  • 1 1/4 lb. candied pineapple
  • 1 lb. nuts
  • 7 eggs
